Located just off Batu Bolong Beach in Canggu, Bali,
Old Man's Bar was built to be an aprés-surf hangout.
Old Man's Bar is a totally relaxed place to grab breakfast, lunch, dinner or cocktails making it a go-to spot in Canggu, Bali.
Local artists have revamped the outside walls with beautiful blue and white mosaic and hand painted art work. An open floor-plan/biergarten layout helps facilitate the chilled-out energy Old Man’s gives off.
This is a hangout, so you shouldn’t expect to be waited on hand and foot. You order at the front counter and pay before receiving your meal, but you won't have to wait long for your food. They do have servers incase you need anything and will also come clear your plates when you are through. Equipped with large tables and benches, rolling up last minute with a party of 10 is quite alright.
We hit up Old Man’s for breakfast, twice. First we had the eggs frittata and the open faced sandwich with tomato and avocado salsa. The frittata was stacked on a bed of fresh arugula with crispy bacon, avocado and topped with feta cheese. The salsa was super fresh, sprinkled with feta cheese and laid on a perfectly toasted sourdough slice. Adding the poached egg on top was the perfect compliment. You can add them on anything from the breakfast menu. Then, the plate on the left, the big breakfast.
The food comes in at a mid-range price (40-75,000 Rp), but this is great considering the quality of your food, its location right off the beach and a great atmosphere. On top of the menus below, there are daily specials too so make sure you go and hangout at Old Man's Bar.
